Note to TV stations and shows
November 21, 2008 by admin.
Note to TV stations and shows: Do not use “TS” as the first part of your name. Whatever you think it means, you are wrong.

Note to readers: before you start commenting on the miraculous results of American medicine, the picture shows country singer Chely Wright, who is and always has been a woman.

The Lions don’t wear uniforms. They wear costumes.

McCain concedes
November 5, 2008 by admin.
McCain conceded months ago when it appeared his days of fighting for what he believed in ended somewhere between Hanoi and Washington. His insistence on treating the opposition as the “loyal” opposition and “respected colleagues” left him blind to attacks being leveled from all fronts. Obama won without even making promises, and McCain let him.

Election day: Don’t forget who the enemy is
November 4, 2008 by admin.
All day long the media have been trumpeting “voters’ rights” and running warnings from the ACLU, NAACP, and others that “we” will not tolerate attempts to intimidate voters. These attempts to demonize the Republican Party are disgusting, but who can do anything about it? After all, if there are no reports of intimidation, the Dems will say they prevented the Republicans from pulling any dirty tricks (while simultaneously denying that President Bush’s harsh policies against terrorism have prevented further attacks against U.S. soil).
Keep in mind that it is Democratic-leaning unions that get the entire day off so their membership can vote, it was Democratic groups and unions that sought judicial injunctions to allow them to campaign inside polling places as part of their “free speech,” and it was the Dem-leaning ACORN that attempted to paralyze elections officials and watchdogs with known phony voter registrations.
The threat to the voting process does not come from Republicans targeting Democrats. The threat comes from Democrats who attempt to change the rules mid-stream and who use intimidation tactics to keep their own membership in line.

The countdown begins
November 4, 2008 by admin.
Only eleven hours until John McCain’s most impassioned and heartfelt speech of the election - his concession.

I voted absentee last week, but my TV still keeps picking up all the campaign ads.

Quit insulting women in politics
October 31, 2008 by admin.
I am getting very tired of Democrats referring to Sarah Palin as “bush.” Such insults were not used against Geraldine Ferraro or Hillary Clinton, and are inappropriate inside or outside politics. Clam up!

Dear Postmaster:
October 25, 2008 by admin.
Dear Postmaster:
I would like to switch to a different level of service. I currently have the service where your mail carrier delivers mail to our neighborhood and each evening the neighbors all get together and swap our mail so it reaches the proper person.
I would like to switch to the service where my mail is delivered to my mailbox, and I don’t get my neighbor’s mail anymore.
Thank you. If you need to reach me, you can just send a letter to any address in the 1200 block of W_______.

Holiday greetings (already)

I was at Target last week and I was stunned by the holiday merchandise. I mean, here it is, mid-October, and still no Easter stuff!
